About Burlington, Vermont
Burlington is one of the best places in Vermont to live, learn, work, play, and do business. It is located on the east side of the pristine Lake Champlain with its docks, sailing boats, swimming, and all other water-related activities. The major population of the town is young people, mostly students of the University of Vermont, Champlain College, Burlington College, and the Culinary Institute. For those who are looking for yummy gourmet food (probably all of us) this is the place: food from all the countries of the world prepared by great gourmets.
During all four seasons of the year you can find lots of pleasures here for your visit: Maple sugar season in the Spring; Sailing, fishing, outdoor concerts & mountain hikes in the Summer; Late foliage season in the Fall is a great one with some of the more vibrant colors you have ever seen; and Winter comes with sleigh rides, snowman building, ice pond skating, apres ski by the fire, local foods, arts, crafts, and all the snowshoeing, snowmobiles, hiking, ice climbing, and sledding you can handle.
Stay with us at the Burlington Hostel and get a chance to explore this very unique city of the world.
